This year, we're celebrating the the summer harvest of New Jersey farms with a contest dedicated to the versatile and delicious Jersey tomato. Whether you dream up savory sauces or salsa, tomato pies or decadent breads, showcase your culinary creativity using fresh, local tomatoes as the star ingredient. Impress our judges with your originality, taste, and use of NJ's finest produce. All dishes must be turned in by 10:45am, judging starts at 11am.

Peter Genovese from NJ.com will be joining us signing some of his many books about NJ food and culture starting at 9am. He has authored 13 books all about our wonderful state and some of the greatest places to eat, he also regularly writes for NJ.com and the Star Ledger. Peter will then be a guest judge for the Summthin' Tomato contest!!

DJ Mr. Socks will also be in attendence as MC and spinning tunes for the day!
