With over 20 unique design businesses, downtown Summit is THE design district for both consumers and industry professionals. On October 11th, 2018 we host a special event, Design Day & Night, where we will showcase these businesses with special workshops, acclaimed guest speakers including Ashley Whittaker and Jessica Kagan Cushman, exclusive product previews and more. Come explore all that Summit offers including fine art galleries, kitchen design, paint and wallpaper collections, expert frame shops, custom upholstery, luxury bedding, exquisite sources for rugs, furniture, lighting, accessories, and one of a kind vintage and antique pieces. The acclaimed Summit House is offering special Prix Fixe lunch menus with tablescapes curated by Summit design businesses and free Prosecco to Design Day & Night attendees.  This event is presented in cooperation with Design New Jersey.  See you in Summit!

*Please note time change* Meet and Greet with Jessica Kagan Cushman – Jessica is the daughter of Vladimir Kagan, a German-born furniture designer considered an early pioneer of modern American design.  Her mother was Erica Wilson, an innovative British embroidery designer who was known as "the Julia Child of needlework".  Jessica will answer questions about how her famous designer parents influenced her jewelry design career.  Her unconventional jewelry will be on hand for a trunk show!  Jessica's jewels have been featured in Cosmopolitan, Vogue, Elle, People and In Style magazines as well as carried at Bergdorf Goodman and Barney New York.
