Timothy Lowe is a licensed psychotherapist who provides counseling services to ambitious men who have difficulty expressing themselves. His clients are typically men in committed relationships, seeking to improve communication with the women they love. He supports them in developing active listening skills, expressing more than just silence or anger, addressing issues in non-confrontational ways, working through resentment, and learning to create enough emotional space for both partners to thrive.

A common frustration he hears from clients is: “Whenever I tell my wife I’m upset about something with us, she’ll start to cry, and I end up apologizing, even though I haven’t done anything wrong.” He recognizes this dynamic as a common blueprint for why many men tend to shut down emotionally.

In addition to relationship-focused work, he has helped clients navigate depression, anxiety, substance abuse, grief, trauma, career challenges, childhood abuse and neglect, and low self-esteem.

Since most therapists are not men, he feels honored and privileged to serve as a healthy male role model for many of his clients—using humor and love as the foundation of his practice.
